1ST AMERICAN KARATE LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP
NOVEMBER 1, 2015
JOHN F. KENNEDY HIGH SCHOOL
127 PREAKNESS AVE. PATERSON, NJ 07522
Dear Masters, Instructors, Athletes, and Parents,
It is with great pleasure that I announce the Grand Opening of the 1st A.K.L.C. at the JFK H.S. Eastern Fighting Arts has a memorable history with the city of Paterson since the 70s and to bring back a tournament to its roots is a wonderful experience for its tradition.
Our goal is to run a very organized, well judged, and time efficient tournament. This level of expertise will be insured by the professionalism and experience of certified masters, referees, instructors, and trained personnel. We stand by our tradition of fairness, honest judging and officiating.
We will have protective mats in all rings for competition. Our computer system will allow spectators as well as coaches or sensei’s to see official scores as the tournament progresses. Every participant will receive a medal for participation if he/she does not place in their division. All schools, clubs or dojo’s that pre-register at least 20 competitors will receive a Silver Cup to honor their attendance. Every single Sensei or Head Master of each Dojo will receive a Free Professional name tag that will allow them to roam freely around the competition arena.
Also, in honor of your participation in this championship, we will celebrate all the senseis or Head Master Instructors from each Dojo with a plaque during our ceremonies.
We would like to invite all schools, clubs and dojos to join us Sunday November 1, 2015 at the JFK H.S. gymnasium.
Sincerely yours,
Sensei David E. Correa
Eastern Fighting Arts Head Master Instructor
E.F.A. member since 1986
